My first blog entry as Principal of PACHS

Dear Campos Community,
As a mother and a lifelong member of Humboldt Park, I am incredibly proud to be your principal. I attended DePaul University and earned my Bachelor’s in Education and later National Louis University for a Double Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and in Educational Leadership.  I am currently pursuing a Doctorate of Educational Leadership. With 10 years of experience as a teacher leader, I have three priorities:

1. Safety and Security of all staff and students

2. Developing an educational experience built on a strong curriculum and engaging instruction

3. Upholding the mission of PACHS through a community-focused curriculum

As a proud product of the Humboldt Park community, I know firsthand the difference a quality education can make in the lives of young people. An education is an opportunity that each and every young person deserves and neighborhood schools are the pillars of hope and change for each family that walks through the doors. Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos Puerto Rican High School  is a staple of the community and I hope to continue to build on the mission and vision of PACHS.
